| The Stem. Where most of the fiddly work is done on a Welsford design of this type. A little bit of patience and care makes all the difference to the finished boat. I think it is essential to scribe all your stringer positions and plank positions when you are marking out your stem. Be sure to mark in the waterline as well. This helps a lot when you are trying to reposition components off the plan. |
